A Bare Assembly

Bird chirrup,

Eyes glimmer and water,

Breath coldly waves in the wind,

Tracks barren,

Sky overcast,

Beeping toll barriers,

A paused plethora of multicoloured onlookers, detached,

Noses sniffle,

Hips sway,

The mind frolics,

But where are the trains?

Lull hum, disassociated,

The white shiny walls signal their demeanour,

The brick wall sternly gazes,

The bright pair of eyes reveal themselves on the horizon,

The urban snake finally coils down its passageway,

Promising a bushel of its kin,

The horde begin ticking, clamping and trotting,

Their clocks are revivified again,

Their brief freedom, Long May It Sleep
